The FiiO M33 R2R Portable Music Player brings true desktop-grade R2R architecture into a compact high-performance Android DAP. At its core lies FiiO’s self-developed fully differential complementary 24-bit R2R resistor array DAC, engineered to deliver natural timbre, analog richness and precise micro-detail retrieval. Unlike conventional delta-sigma designs, the FiiO M33 R2R Portable Music Player provides a smoother, more organic presentation with improved depth, darker background and enhanced spatial realism.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, running Android 13, and equipped with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM (expandable up to 2TB via TF card), the FiiO M33 R2R Portable Music Player ensures fluid performance for streaming, multitasking and local Hi-Res playback. The large 5.5-inch 1080 × 2160 fully laminated display delivers an immersive visual experience, complemented by customizable UI themes.
For USB performance, the FiiO M33 R2R Portable Music Player integrates an independent XMOS XU316 USB chip, supporting USB DAC up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD512 (Native). Local playback supports 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 (Native), ensuring uncompromised high-resolution decoding. Coaxial output supports up to 384kHz/24bit and DSD128 (DoP/D2P).
The analog stage of the FiiO M33 R2R Portable Music Player features dual OPA1637 fully differential I/V op-amps, OPA1662 LPF stage, four INA1620 headphone amplifier chips, and a precision NJW1195A volume control chip. Eight Rubycon film capacitors, independent power supply design and multi-layer partitioned shielding significantly reduce crosstalk and noise, resulting in exceptional clarity and channel separation.
