At the core of the FiiO LINK-TC2 is a precisely engineered conductor assembly: one strand of 44 wires and three strands of 18 wires each, all crafted from high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated copper. Monocrystalline copper is produced through a slow-draw crystallization process that eliminates the grain boundaries found in standard OFC copper - the result is a conductor with significantly lower resistance, superior signal continuity, and reduced electron scattering that can affect digital audio transmission quality. The silver plating further enhances surface conductivity, ensuring stable, low-impedance data and power transfer across all three cable lengths.
Each conductor strand is individually insulated with an HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) insulation layer - a material chosen for its low dielectric constant and minimal signal absorption, ensuring that the digital data carried by the LINK-TC2 arrives at its destination with maximum fidelity.
